By accessing or using hanzigo.net (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available on this page.

HanziGo is a free educational website that helps people learn Chinese characters through stroke animations, quizzes, tracing practice, and calligraphy content. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind.

The Service does not require registration. Your learning progress (streaks, points, badges and settings) is stored locally in your own browser. Clearing your browser data will erase this progress, and we cannot restore it.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service;
• scrape, republish or resell the Service's content in bulk without permission;
• misrepresent the Service's content as your own teaching material when redistribution is not permitted.

The HanziGo name, design, original stories and text are owned by HanziGo. Stroke data is derived from the open-source hanzi-writer-data project. Calligraphy artworks shown in the gallery are ancient, public-domain works. Chinese characters themselves belong to everyone.

HanziGo is an educational tool. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, test score or level of language proficiency. Always verify character usage with authoritative dictionaries when accuracy matters.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HanziGo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
